SHG’s COVID-19 response cited for “demonstrating a high technical innovation to improve health care delivery”
WATERTOWN MA March 2, 2022—Survey Healthcare Global (SHG), a brand of the Apollo Intelligence (Apollo), was presented with a Silver Stevie® Award in the Most Valuable Response by a Business Development Team category as part of the 16th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service awards announced today.
The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top honors for customer service, contact center, business development and sales professionals. The Stevie Awards organizes eight of the world’s leading business awards programs, also including the prestigious American Business Awards® and International Business Awards®.
SHG is the global market leader in primary healthcare data collection and digital interview solutions that provides access to physicians and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) worldwide—experts essential to the development and launch of new treatments. Fifteen times during the pandemic, SHG’s business development team helped researchers performing pivotal COVID-19 research in the US, UK, and EU by structuring highly flexible, favorable terms to enable researchers to gain physician insights when grant paperwork approval was in limbo.
In doing so, SHG allowed five peer-reviewed studies to complete, including three published in the BMJ—while remaining focused on delivering against SHG’s own revenue growth goals and remaining the highest performing sector of Apollo’s entire business. Stevie’s awards judges commended SHG for “demonstrating a high technical innovation to improve healthcare delivery,” and for “great work in navigating a challenging period successfully.”
“Apollo Intelligence is honored that the COVID-19 response of our Survey Healthcare Global team has garnered a Stevie award,” said Daniel S. Fitzgerald, CEO of Apollo. “As stewards of a global HCP community, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we knew that as a company, we needed to look beyond individual career and financial goals, and prioritize our unique contribution to global understanding of how to cope with the pandemic. We are extremely proud that by offering access to HCP insights in key markets worldwide, SHG helped numerous researchers to amass a body of COVID-19 expertise— sharing the voice of the HCP in service to the scientists building life-changing therapies.”
